Hello,
We are Lee Yoo-kyung and Lee Kang-wook, the CEOs of the Dark Barracks brand.
We are siblings who love travel and nature.
Since childhood, we have enjoyed outdoor camping life with our family.
We felt the preciousness of the time spent talking closely with loved ones under the countless stars in the night sky, the beautifully spread sunset, and the clouds around the river, feeling the mystery of being above the clouds.
As we started to enjoy camping life on weekends to get away from our busy and tired daily lives, we felt the healthiness of our minds being ventilated.
As we started our camping life in earnest, we thought a lot about 'how can we enjoy camping life more conveniently?'
And we started to develop a rooftop tent ourselves.
Among them, the most urgent issue was the pollution, mold, and odor problems caused by moisture in the tent, and we developed an easy-to-manage and convenient all-around hard rooftop tent to solve the problem.
Even now, the Dark Barracks team is constantly researching ways to enjoy camping in the most efficient and safe way,
and aims to develop products that are intuitive, luxurious, and easy for anyone to enjoy camping life.
